Hrm... How about integration with id-utils?

I've named this assignment a 'maneuver' on purpose; it's an experiment to see whether we can garner some assistance for sgithens to help him build an extension for Vim. I think that would make an awesome mini-project. Integration with id-utils could be patterned after Vim's existing integration with TAGS.

HOMEWORK: Review vim's extension hooks and interface(s) for external systems. Specifically, review how it handles TAGS today.
