First Chapter Due Saturday

The format of the class is to do one lesson a week. The assignment for each lesson is going to be due on Saturdays. So the assignment in the first lesson is due this Saturday, Feb. 6th.

Right now, each lesson is mapped directly to a chapter in the book. However, if that pace is too fast or too slow, we can change it up based on your feedback.

There are obviously no penalties for late homework, so if you start late or don't have the book yet, don't worry. Just submit it when you can and you should be able to catch up in no time.

Damn, I guess I'm going way too fast then. I got it in ebook form and I'm already starting chapter 3.

It's a surprisingly easy and straight-forward read. I'm messing around with a copy of a website I recently coded so I can try out the examples as I go along.

Great course Mr. kday

Cheers!

Awesome, that's great. You'll be in a good position to help out other people too :) Hope you learn a lot from the class.

If others find that it's too light in content I can add more content in there somewhere by either combining chapters into a single lesson or finding additional content from elsewhere on the interwebs.

I've been looking for something like this for a long time.

I got worried in the beginning of the chapter thinking the book is out of date talking about ie5. I just decided to not code for ie6 this week! lol.

Few questions: is there a "homework assignment" for first chapter where will the homework be posted?

Looking forward to working with you all.

Hey guys. Joined the class a bit late because I just found the link on Reddit today. I got the ebook myself and am looking forward to the course. It's about time something like this was made!

I'm a web and graphic designer, but I've just been slacking off on really learning CSS through-and-through. Thanks for this :)

Yeah, there is an assignment. After the lesson text is a link that says Assignment 1. That will take you to the assignment for this week.
